Financial services was one of the first industries to use machine learning at scale, for fraud, credit and trading, and it now has a conference calendar of its own. This guide pulls the finance events from our AI events calendar, so the list stays current, and explains what each series is for, why agentic AI now has dedicated finance events, and which ones suit which reader.
Upcoming AI in finance conferences#
Every finance event still to come in the calendar, in date order. Each name opens a page with the venue, format and organiser's site. Confirm dates there before booking.

The calendar is busiest in the second half of the year, so the list gets short in the spring and fills up again as organisers announce their autumn editions. If you are planning ahead, the series in the next section are the ones to watch for.
The main series and what each is for#
The AI in Finance Summit. A series with editions in several cities, including London, Chicago and a fall edition near New York. The agendas centre on the core finance use cases: fraud, risk, credit, operations and customer service. The programme is aimed at practitioners in banks, insurers and asset managers, which makes the hallway useful for comparing notes with peers.
The Agentic AI in Finance Summit (New York). A narrower event focused specifically on agents: systems that take actions rather than only producing predictions. More on why that matters in the next section.
ALD NYC: the Future of Agentic AI in Finance and Banking. A one-day New York event on the same theme, as the name says, for finance and banking.
Banking innovation summits in the Gulf. The Middle East Banking Innovation Summit in Dubai is the main example in our data. The Gulf has an active banking technology scene with its own regulators and incumbents. The Middle East and Africa conference guide covers the region more broadly.
The large fintech shows. Money20/20 and Sibos are not AI conferences as such, but AI is now a large part of both programmes. Money20/20 centres on payments and fintech. Sibos, run by Swift, centres on banking infrastructure and the institutions that use it. They are bigger, broader and more commercial than the dedicated AI events.
Regulation events. Not finance-specific, but finance teams attend in numbers. The AI Regulation Summit in London is one example in our data. If your role is in compliance or risk, one regulation event a year is usually worth more than a second technology show.
Why agentic AI has its own finance events#
It is worth understanding why this sub-genre exists, because it tells you what questions the industry is working on.
Traditional machine learning in finance makes predictions: this transaction looks fraudulent, this applicant is a credit risk. A person or a rules engine decides what to do. An agent goes further. It drafts the customer email, raises the payment, updates the account, files the report. Once software acts, the questions change.
Who approved this? Every action needs an owner and an audit trail. What is it allowed to do? Agents need limits, and the limits need to be enforced in the system rather than written in a policy. What happens when it is wrong? Liability, remediation and customer communication all need a plan before the first incident, not after.
Those questions are not unique to banks. Any business that lets AI send emails, quotes or invoices faces a smaller version of them, and the finance events are where they are being worked through most carefully. It is the same principle Wysera is built on: Wyse drafts the work, and a person approves it before anything ships. Whether you use our product or not, the approval step is the part worth copying.
Not "can the model do it" but "who signed off, and can we prove it". That is what finance cares about, and it is the right question for everyone else too.
Which event suits which reader#
You work in a bank, insurer or asset manager. One AI in Finance Summit edition for breadth, plus an agentic event if your team is deploying agents. Pick the city that minimises travel.
You work in risk, compliance or audit. The agentic events and a regulation summit. The sessions on control and audit are where your input is most needed and least represented.
You sell to financial institutions. The dedicated series for relationships and Money20/20 or Sibos for scale. Book meetings before you go: financial services buyers are busy at these events and rarely buy from a stand they walked past.
You lead a fintech startup. The large fintech shows for investors, partners and distribution, and one dedicated AI in finance event to hear what your bank customers worry about. The second is often the more useful, because the objections you will meet in procurement are discussed openly on stage there, and you can build your answers before a buyer asks.
You run a small accounting, bookkeeping or insurance firm. Probably not a dedicated finance AI event. Your own profession's conferences will be more practical, and the tools discussed at bank events are rarely priced or built for a small practice. Guides such as marketing for accountants and marketing for insurance agents cover what applies to firms your size.
You are curious but not in finance. Skip the dedicated events and read the published talks. For general business AI, the US conference guide lists broader options.
Getting it approved in a cost-conscious function#
Finance teams are, by nature, good at asking what a trip will produce. Answer before they ask.
Name the decision
A vendor evaluation, a control design for an AI pilot, a view on what peers are doing about a regulatory change. Tie the trip to something the business has to decide anyway.
Book the meetings
Peers at other institutions, vendors on your shortlist, the speaker whose session matches your problem. List them in the request.
Show the full cost
Ticket, travel and the days away. Many finance events are a single day, which keeps the number small and the case easy.
Commit to a write-up
A short note within a week with what you learned and what you recommend. It makes the next request routine.
Before and after#
Before: book meetings two to three weeks out. Speakers at practitioner events are often willing to talk if you give a specific reason. Check your firm's rules on hospitality and gifts before you accept dinner invitations from vendors.
During: write one line after each useful conversation: the problem, the tool, the date, the promise.
After: follow up within three days. The event lead follow-up guide explains why that window matters. Then write the note you promised, while it is fresh.

Try it on autopilot
AI that drafts. People who approve.
Wysera runs marketing, sales and operations on one record, and Wyse asks before anything ships, so every email, quote and invoice has a person who approved it.
Frequently asked
What are the main AI in finance conferences?
The dedicated series include the AI in Finance Summit, which runs editions in several cities including London, Chicago and a fall edition near New York, the Agentic AI in Finance Summit in New York, the ALD NYC event on agentic AI in finance and banking, and banking innovation summits in Dubai. Broader fintech shows such as Money20/20 and Sibos also carry large AI programmes. The list on this page shows every finance event still to come in our calendar.
What is the AI in Finance Summit?
A conference series focused on applying AI and machine learning in financial services, with editions in different cities through the year. It is aimed at practitioners in banks, insurers and asset managers, and the topics span the core finance use cases such as fraud, risk, operations and customer service. Because it is a series, if you miss one city there is usually another edition later in the year.
Why are there separate agentic AI in finance events?
Because agents raise questions that ordinary AI does not, and finance feels them first. An agent that acts on its own touches accounts, payments and customer communications, so the questions are about control, audit, approval and liability. Dedicated events spend the whole day on those questions, which a general AI show covers in one panel.
Are AI in finance conferences useful for small accounting or insurance firms?
Partly. Most sessions are pitched at banks and large institutions, so the specifics will not all apply. The governance and control discussions do transfer, though, and they are useful for any firm deciding how much an AI tool should be allowed to do without a person checking. For tools built for a small firm, your own industry's trade events are usually more practical.
How do I get approval for a finance conference?
Write a one-page case: the decision the trip supports, the meetings you will book, the full cost including days away, and a written recommendation within a week. In finance functions, a named control or risk question you need answered is often the strongest justification, because it ties the trip to something the business has to decide anyway.
Is Money20/20 an AI conference?
Not primarily. It is a large payments and fintech show, but AI now runs through much of its programme, from fraud to customer service. For commercial work in payments it is often more useful than a dedicated AI event. For a deep look at how AI is governed and controlled in financial institutions, the dedicated series are better.
