Wyse Room
The home base for ClubWyse. Wyse Live runs the events; Wyse Room is where the members stay.
Three names, and what each one means
ClubWyse
The product, and what it is called when you are buying it. Community and creator monetisation, with security enforced in the database rather than the app.
ClubWyseWyse Room
The same product, and what it is called when you are inside it. Channels, classroom, vault, directory.
Wyse Live
The events. Summits, meetups, virtual sessions and workshops, which appear in the Room as their own space.
Wyse LiveWhat is behind each tab
A sidebar is a promise about what happens when you click it. Each of these names the ClubWyse capability underneath.
Community
Home feed
Every channel you are in, in one stream, with unread counts kept per channel rather than one badge for everything.
Classroom
Courses, modules and lessons, with progress tracked lesson by lesson and gating at course level.
Live events
RSVPs and live rooms. The Wyse Live calendar, from inside the community rather than beside it.
Resource vault
Curated collections, with upload and download through presigned URLs rather than a public bucket.
Directory
Who else is in here. One search runs across posts, lessons, resources and members at once.
Leaderboard
A point ledger and levels, and the channels that only open at a given level.
Workspace
Direct messages
One-to-one, with exact read receipts rather than a guess at whether it landed.
Saved posts
Bookmarks, kept per member.
Drafts
Not in the catalogueWhat you started and have not posted yet.
Channels
Three ship with a new room. Every channel after that carries its own tier and level gate, so a channel can open at a paid tier or at a point level.
Staff only. The one channel nobody can bury.
The first thing a new member is asked to do.
Everything that does not have a channel yet.
The part members never see
Security enforced by Postgres rather than by the application, so the client key is safe to ship.
- Row level security on every table
- Policies tested against real member roles
- Reporting and muting as two separate mechanisms
- Member bans from the club settings surface
- An audit log of staff actions
- Notifications scoped to both club and caller
