AI Playbook for Content Marketing Leaders
Content marketing's bottleneck isn't ideas, it's execution. PostWyse turns the editor into a director: orchestrate drafts, score quality, ship volume.
What you ship
- 4x current content volume without growing the team.
- Topic clusters mapped, briefs auto-generated per piece, drafts written and SEO-scored.
- Editorial calendar live and self-updating based on performance data.
- Repurposing on autopilot: each long-form post becomes 8-12 derivative pieces (LinkedIn, X, newsletter, video script).
- Time per post from idea to publish: 90 minutes (vs 6-12 hours baseline).
The 30-day rollout
- 01
Week 1: Cluster planning
Map 3-5 pillar topics, 10-15 spokes per pillar (see /templates/blog-cluster-plan). PostWyse builds the calendar from your clusters: 12-week editorial roadmap with priorities, target keywords, and SEO opportunity scores per piece.
- 02
Week 1: Brand voice profile
Upload 10-20 sample posts in your team's voice. PostWyse learns the rhythm, the vocabulary, the must-avoid list. Future drafts match without prompt engineering.
- 03
Week 2: Brief automation
Per piece, PostWyse generates the brief using your 8-section AI SEO brief template (see /templates/ai-seo-brief). Briefs include search intent, top-5 ranking pages with weaknesses, proof points to weave in, voice constraints, structural targets, internal links, CTA. 10 minutes per brief instead of 30.
- 04
Week 2-3: Draft and SEO score
PostWyse drafts each piece against the brief. SEO scoring runs inline: keyword coverage, structure, readability, FAQ presence, internal links, schema validity. Editor reviews the score, edits the 10-15 percent that needs voice work, ships.
- 05
Week 3: Repurposing engine
On publish, PostWyse generates the derivative content: LinkedIn post (3 variants), X thread, newsletter blurb, video script. Editor approves and ships. Each long-form piece compounds into 8-12 distribution touchpoints.
- 06
Week 4: Performance feedback loop
PostWyse reads GSC and GA4 nightly. Posts trending up get refresh briefs queued. Posts decaying get audited for refresh or sunset. Topics with strong performance get more spokes added to the calendar. The calendar self-improves.
The agents Wyse runs for this role
Maps pillars and spokes, builds the calendar
Drafts the 8-section brief per piece
Writes long-form in your team's voice
Inline scoring with fix suggestions
Generates 8-12 derivative pieces per long-form publish
Reads GSC/GA4, queues refresh briefs
- Content velocity: 4x baseline within 60 days.
- Time per post from idea to publish: target 90 minutes.
- Average SEO score before publish: target 85+.
- Repurposing ratio: 8-12 derivative pieces per long-form publish.
- Top-10 ranking pages added per quarter: target 15+.
Common mistakes
- Letting AI pick the pillar topics. Topic selection is strategy. AI executes against the pillars; humans pick them.
- Editing by rewriting. If you're rewriting more than 15 percent of the draft, fix the brief, not the output.
- Skipping the cluster planning step. One-off posts don't compound. Clusters do.
- Repurposing without refreshing the angle. The LinkedIn post can't be the headline of the blog. Each derivative needs its own hook.
- Treating the SEO score as a checklist. The score is a guardrail, not the goal. A 90-score generic post loses to an 85-score post with a real opinion.

Questions
Does this replace my freelance writers?
Not entirely. PostWyse handles the foundation drafts. Freelancers are still valuable for interviews, original research, and thought-leadership pieces requiring deep subject expertise. Most teams that adopt this playbook keep 1-2 freelancers for the top 20 percent of content.
How does PostWyse compare to Jasper or Copy.ai?
Jasper and Copy.ai are writing assistants. PostWyse is the content marketing platform: cluster planning, brief automation, drafting, SEO scoring, repurposing, performance loop. The writing draft is one piece. The leverage is in the workflow around the draft.
What about EEAT and AI-content penalties?
Google ranks helpful content regardless of authoring tool. The risk is generic, low-value AI content. PostWyse mitigates by enforcing the brief's voice and proof constraints. EEAT specifically: every piece carries author byline + Person schema + topical authority signals. We track this as a metric.
How long until ROI shows?
Volume lift is immediate (within 14 days). SEO results take 90-120 days to show in traffic. Compounding effect (cluster lift) kicks in around month 4. Plan the budget accordingly.
Can I bring my own model (Claude Opus, GPT-4o)?
Yes on Pro Bundle and Enterprise. BYO API keys for upstream models. Default deployment uses Wysera-managed Claude Opus, which we tune for SEO content drafting.
