Why warmup takes 12 days

A brand-new mailbox has no reputation yet. Warmup builds one slowly, so your emails land in the inbox instead of spam.

Gmail, Outlook and other providers watch how much a new address sends. A mailbox that jumps from nothing to dozens of cold emails a day looks like spam, and gets treated that way.

So a new PostWyse mailbox starts slowly. Warmup begins within 15 minutes of creating it and sends a small number of emails each day. Your own sends start at a few a day and climb a little each day after that. Plan on about 12 days before a new mailbox sends at its full pace.

Follow each mailbox on Email › Warmup. It moves from Start to Ramp to Full volume, and warmup keeps running after that to hold its reputation.

While you wait, write your first sequence and start with people who know you.

During the trial, each mailbox sends at most 20 emails a day.
