You are not paying a delivery fee. You are renting your own customers.

The AI Growth OS for restaurants

The commission is the smaller half of the bill. The app keeps the guest, so the person who ordered on Friday is a stranger on Monday. Wysera builds the guest list you own, moves repeat orders direct, stops the tables walking, and brings regulars back.

The number nobody totals

Commission is an annual salary you never hired for.

Nobody adds it up, because it arrives as a deduction on every order rather than a bill at the end of the month. Put your own numbers in.

This is what you pay, not what Wysera saves. The worksheet further down the page estimates how much of it is recoverable, and it is deliberately a fraction rather than the whole thing: the apps bring reach you would not otherwise buy.

Commission paid a year

$57,600

On $19,200 a month of delivery revenue at 25%.

That is roughly 48 weeks of a full-time salary at $1,200 a week, spent every year on orders from people whose names you never get to keep.

What breaks today

Four leaks, and none of them is the food.

A restaurant runs on single-digit margins and pays double-digit commission on every delivery order. Worse than the money is the ownership: the app keeps the guest, so the person who ordered from you on Friday is a stranger on Monday and you cannot reach them. Meanwhile reservations no-show without a deposit, the review that decides tomorrow's covers goes unanswered, and the regulars who used to come fortnightly quietly drift to monthly. Wysera is the layer that makes those guests yours.

  • Delivery platforms take a commission on every order and keep the customer. You get the sale once and no way to reach that person again, which is the expensive part rather than the fee.
  • Reservations no-show with no deposit and no reminder, and a table held for a party that never arrives is revenue that cannot be recovered later in the evening.
  • Reviews decide tomorrow's covers. They arrive across Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor, most go unanswered, and nobody is systematically asking the happy guests to leave one.
  • Regulars drift without anyone noticing. There is no list, no visit history and no reason to reach out, so a guest who came fortnightly for two years just stops and nobody calls.

What it runs

Six things, one system.

Own the guest, not rent them (OpsWyse CRM)

Every order, booking and enquiry builds a guest record you actually hold: what they ordered, how often they come, when they last did. That is the asset the delivery apps will not give you, and it is what makes every other line on this page possible.

Move orders direct (PostWyse + OpsWyse)

Campaigns that give a guest a reason to order from you instead of the app: the same food without the marked-up menu, a loyalty offer worth more than the app's discount, an SMS at five on a Friday. Every order that moves direct keeps the commission and the relationship.

Stop losing the table (OpsWyse)

Deposits on bookings that warrant them, automated confirmations and reminders, an easy reschedule instead of a silent no-show, and waitlist backfill when a slot opens. A held table nobody sits at is the most expensive thing in the room.

Reviews, asked for and answered (PostWyse)

The post-visit review ask automated, owner responses drafted for approval across Google, Yelp and the rest, and local SEO for the searches that actually fill a dining room. Dining out is a reputation purchase, and reputation is the part most restaurants handle whenever there is a spare ten minutes.

Bring them back more often (OpsWyse CRM)

The guest who has not been in for sixty days, the birthday coming up, the regular whose visits are thinning. All of it surfaces on its own, with the message drafted from what they actually order, ready to approve. Frequency is cheaper to buy than a new guest.

The half a marketing platform does not run (OpsWyse)

Hiring and onboarding front and back of house, rotas, supplier notes, prep and safety SOPs, projects, internal docs and chat. Forty-plus modules with the same agent across them, because a full dining room becomes a staffing problem faster in this business than in any other.

What the leaks are worth in your restaurant

The biggest number in a restaurant is not on the menu, it is the commission on every delivery order plus the guests nobody can reach a second time. Then the tables held for people who never arrive.

Your money back

$34,356a year

$2,863 a month, on the numbers you entered.

  • Covers recovered from no-shows$21,600

    Deposits, reminders and waitlist backfill.

  • Commission kept on orders moved direct$8,640

The fee you stop paying on repeat business.

  • Regulars brought back$4,056

    Spread across the year.

  • Stack you stop paying for$60

Subscriptions replaced, minus your Wysera budget.

These are your numbers, not our claims. Every field marked your estimate is something you are guessing at, and the total moves with it. Where a row is spend you stop paying, your own Wysera budget is already subtracted from it. Nothing here is a promise about what Wysera will do for you.

Honest comparison

Why not Toast, Square, OpenTable, or a delivery app?

Toast and Square are point-of-sale systems and belong exactly where they are: taking payment and running the floor. OpenTable and Resy fill seats and charge for it. DoorDash and Uber Eats bring volume, and they keep the customer, which is the real price. None of them is trying to be the layer that makes those guests yours: the list, the reason to come back, the review engine, the direct-order push and the operations behind it. Most restaurants keep their POS for payments and their delivery apps for reach, and run Wysera as the thing that converts rented demand into a guest list they own.

Built for

Independent restaurants and small groups doing meaningful delivery or takeaway volume, or taking bookings, who have no guest list of their own and no reliable way to bring a regular back.

Not built for

A single site with no delivery, no bookings and a queue out of the door, where the constraint is capacity rather than demand. Also not a point-of-sale, a kitchen display system or a booking engine, and not trying to replace them.

Frequently asked

The questions operators actually ask.

Are you telling me to leave the delivery apps?

No. They bring reach a single restaurant cannot buy, and walking away from that on principle costs more than it saves. The argument is narrower: every order that arrives through an app should also make that person a guest you can reach directly next time. Keep the apps for discovery, move the repeat business direct, and the commission becomes an acquisition cost rather than a permanent tax.

Does this replace Toast, Square or OpenTable?

No, and it should not. Your POS takes payment and runs the floor, and your booking system fills seats. Wysera runs the layer around them: who your guests are, why they come back, whether reviews get asked for and answered, and whether anyone notices when a regular stops coming. Most restaurants keep all of it and run Wysera as the guest and marketing layer.

How do you actually move orders direct?

By giving a guest a reason. The same food without the app's marked-up menu prices, a loyalty offer worth more to them than the app's discount, and a message that arrives at the moment they are deciding what to eat. It works because you know what they ordered last time, which the app will never tell you and Wysera records from the first direct order onward.

We are a small team with no marketing person. Is this realistic?

That is the case it is built for. Wyse drafts the campaign, the review response, the win-back message and the social post, and somebody approves before anything sends. The work becomes approving rather than writing, which is a job a manager can do between services. If you want humans running it entirely, HireWyse adds them on the same platform.

What does Wysera cost for a restaurant?

One flat bundle price covering the guest list, campaigns, reviews, retention and the operations modules, with annual plans saving 20%. The useful comparison is not against another subscription, it is against a month of delivery commission. The worksheet on this page does that arithmetic with your numbers.

See what one month of delivery commission is really costing you.
